Wasted Youth, the brand led by Verdy, is set to launch its first collaborative collection with TAPPEI, an illustrator and tattoo artist based in Osaka. The partnership grew out of their initial meeting through Thirty 3 Magazine, where Verdy featured TAPPEI in the debut issue.
The collection maintains Wasted Youth’s signature focus on graphic-centric apparel and accessories. The lineup features a zip hoodie, crewneck sweatshirts, a T-shirt, a knit cap, a 6-panel cap, a skate deck and a sticker set. Notably, TAPPEI’s angelic illustrations reinterpret the graphic designs on every item, giving the collection a playful aesthetic with distinct line work.
With prices ranging from ¥3,300 JPY to ¥24,200 JPY (approx. $20 USD – $150 USD), the Wasted Youth x TAPPEI collection will be available via an online raffle on Verdy’s Gift Shop starting November 25.
