Overview

  • KEF revives an icon with the new Coda W. The bookshelf pair brings the Coda name into the Bluetooth era while staying turntable-ready.
  • “Coda W Wireless HiFi Speaker is an all-in-one system that makes high-fidelity sound more accessible than ever.”
  • A 5.25-inch, 12th-generation Uni-Q driver anchors the sound. System power hits 200W with dedicated amps per driver. The Music Integrity Engine DSP is tuned for this platform.
  • Wireless is handled by Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX Lossless and aptX Adaptive. The wired side covers HDMI ARC, USB-C up to 24-bit/192kHz, optical, and RCA with an integrated phono preamp. There is a subwoofer out.
  • Design stays clean and minimal. Finishes include Vintage Burgundy, Nickel Grey, Moss Green, Midnight Blue, and Dark Titanium. A 3 m interspeaker cable is included. An 8 m C-Link and SQ1 floor stands are optional.
  • The focus is simplicity. There is no Wi‑Fi streaming. Top-panel controls and the KEF Connect app deliver source switching and EQ presets.
  • Positioning is lifestyle-first. The speaker suits vinyl rituals, TV setups, and desk audio. The target is modern Hi-Fi without the rack.
  • Pricing lands at $999 per pair in the US. Regional pricing appears at £799 and €899.
