INEOS Automotive Unveils the Grenadier Detour from Arcane Works
Designed with a slew of external and internal design options to enhance both the vehicle’s level of personalization.
INEOS Automotive has just unveiled the first limited edition vehicle from its newly created Arcane Works division, the Grenadier Detour.
Just 200 of the hand-finished 4X4s will be produced, using bespoke design elements and working with UK craftsmen to allow customers to add their style alongside custom-made specifications. The car was unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where the Detour retained all the Grenadier’s refined dynamics and off-road capabilities.
Additionally, the car is designed with a slew of external and internal design options to enhance both the vehicle’s level of personalization and its long-distance comfort. Continuing to offer a choice of two straight-six, 3.0-litre BMW engines that have a proven track record in refined driving, the Detour will use an exclusively tailored exhaust system in petrol models to enhance the sound character and emotion of the vehicle.
Meanwhile, a specially-created exterior contrast pack has been created that includes new color options for the front and rear skid plates, roof rails, and rear ladder, whilst exterior lighting has been decolored to provide a sleek visual.
Each run of limited-edition vehicles will also showcase a unique set of features, and carry a specifically tailored name. Arcane Works will also become a test bed for new technologies and systems for future INEOS vehicles, such as uprated engine modifications, new chassis systems, and many new materials and features.
