A lawsuit filed against Ice Spice has been settled after two musicians accused the artist of copying their song for her single “In Ha Mood,” Pitchfork reported first.

Duval “D.Chamberz” Chamberlain and Kenley “Kass the Producer” Carmenate sued Spice for allegedly ripping off their single “In That Mood.” The drill track appeared on D.Chamberz’s 2022 LP Boom Bap 2 Drill Rap.

In addition to Spice, producer RiotUSA, Universal Music Group, Capitol Records and 10K Projects were all named in the suit, Pitchfork reported, citing court documents.

The duo accused Spice of using a similar hook and lyrics, as well as copying the tempo and rhythm.

“In Ha Mood” appeared on Spice’s debut album Y2K!, which was released in July.

Filed in a New York federal court, both parties have agreed to resolve the suit. Although the exact terms of the settlement weren’t revealed, both parties were to cover their own attorney fees, per Pitchfork.
