Bad Bunny To Join Adam Sandler in 'Happy Gilmore 2'

Bad Bunny is officially set to join Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore 2.
The news was announced by Netflix, who also confirmed the return of original stars Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald. While fans will remember Bowen as Virginia and McDonald as Shooter McGavin, there were no additional details shared about Bad Bunny’s character. Sandler also took to Instagram to tease the start of production, writing, “It ain’t over. The way I see it… we’ve only just begun.”
Many of the original crew are also set to return to the project, including co-writer Tim Herlihy, director Dennis Dugan who will executive produce and producers Jack Giarraputo and Robert Simonds. Kyle Newacheck, who previously worked with Sandler on Murder Mystery, will direct.
