Kompakt Record Bar’s apparel collection has officially landed in HBX.
Starting as an intimate neighborhood bar in Apgujeong, Seoul, Kompakt Record Bar has since forayed into a label that embodies its early beginnings. Founded in 2018, resident DJ, owner and graphic designer, Jinmoo Choi has cultivated a space that united music enthusiasts and sartorialists in one space.
In clothing, Kompakt Record Bar’s aesthetics lean towards simple, wardrobe staples such as tees, sweatshirts, hoodies and chinos. These evergreen silhouettes are rendered in equally as failsafe color palettes, spanning classic monochrome, navy blue and neutral earth tones. Pieces are imbued with simple branding that emanates a retro vibe through its relaxed silhouettes. Musical influences, especially reference to DJ and vinyl culture are also cued into the garments’ graphic design.
