Christopher Ward Debuts a Fully Skeletonized Twelve X Timepiece
Crafted from Grade 5 and Grade 2 titanium.
Joining the ranks of C60 Apex, C60 Concept and C1 Bel Canto, the Twelve X is the newest addition to Christopher Ward’s roster of premium offerings. Aside from its sleek and stunning appearance, the piece also marks many firsts for the British watchmaker — it’s the first Twelve X model to be fully skeletonized, the first to feature a complete Grade 5 and Grade 2 titanium build, and the inaugural piece to equipped with the brand’s brand-new micro adjustable bracelet.
Its skeletonized configuration is undeniably the highlight of this new interpretation of the Twelve X. Will Brackfield, the watch’s designer mentioned that they’ve removed more material than ever before, to expose parts of the movement that have previously been hidden. As a result, the new Twelve X now boasts a more refined look, while enhanced contrast between its hue and finishings further elevates its sleekness.
Equipped with the in-house SH21z caliber, the COSC-certified movement is geared with a twin-barrel design that can be fully appreciated through the face of the 41mm-sized watch. The timepiece beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and is capable of withstanding up to 10 ATM of water resistance, complete with a power reserve of 120 hours.
The titanium bracelet edition has a price tag of $4,865 USD, while a black rubber strap option retails for $4,495 USD. Both variations are now available for pre-order via Christopher Ward’s official website.
