Business Card Signed by Steve Jobs Fetches $181K USD at Auction
Along with a signed check predating Apple’s founding.

A business card signed by Steve Jobs was sold at auction for $181,183 USD. Organized by RR Auction, the lot was called “Steve Jobs and the Apple Computer Revolution,” presenting items from his early days at Apple.
The majority of the items weren’t owned by Jobs himself but rather artifacts of the Apple office. The 1983 business card marked the highest-selling item, followed by a check signed by Jobs in 1976, which went for $176,850 USD. The check was signed prior to Apple officially launching as a company, so the founder handwrote “Apple Computer” at the top of the check.
“The sale of the Steve Jobs-signed Apple business card for over $180,000 sets a new standard in autographed business cards. It’s a testament to the enduring legacy of Jobs and the profound impact of Apple on our modern world,” executive vice president at RR Auction Bobby Livingston said.
Among the other items sold were an Atari Cosmos prototype and a blueprint for the game Pong created by Allan Alcorn.
