Big Sean Looks Inward on New Short Film “Clarity”
Teasing that new music is on the way.
The last time fans got a full album from Big Sean was the follow up to his debut album Detroit, a sequel dropped in 2020. He also returned with an expanded version of the OG mixtape in 2022, though hasn’t given word on when his next LP will be out.
Promising fans that “new music [is] on the way,” the rapper has shared a 5-minute video entitled “Clarity.” Rather than your typical music video, it’s more of a short film detailing Sean’s life as of late.
“Really re-establishing your clarity, it’s something I had to go over myself but I realize we’re all dealing with time moving so fast,” he says.
The black-and-white film flips through shots of Sean holding his baby, hitting the studio and hanging out with friends such as Hit-Boy, Timbaland, Lil Yachty and Tyler, The Creator.
