Fresh off the DSP release of King of the Mischievous South – and an imminent, lengthy world tour around the corner – Denzel Curry took to the Jimmy Kimmel stage for a late-night performance of one of the project’s standout cuts “GOT ME GEEKED.”

Curry’s R&B-coded cut got an even more soulful rendition on Tuesday night’s performance, as the rapper was joined by a backing band filled with strings and horns. Curry emulated the energy brought by the band in his delivery of the track, infusing his emotion into every lyric of the two-and-a-half-minute track.

“I’m leaving this club less sober (aye) / Got a Keke and my soda (aye) / Got a Keke on my shoulders (yeah) / Say she need me, I don’t want her, geeked, geeked,” he croons on the chorus, strutting a dimly-lit stage with his sunglasses on and disco balls scattered on the floor around him.

Stream the full performance above and catch Curry when he hits the road alongside Kenny Mason, Clip and 454 in April. Revisit the full tour details here.
