After teasing the collaboration earlier in the week, Salomon has finally unveiled its reimagined Snowclog collection with London-based streetwear label, Aries.
Arriving in two distinct colorways spanning “Black/Green Gecko/Ftw Silver” and “Lunar Rock/Shocking Orange/Ftw Silver,” both models are imbued with Aries’ signature fluoro accent for a retrofuturistic look. This mood is perfectly embodied in the official campaign visuals, which borrowed aesthetic cues from Japanese superhero series from the ’70 and ‘80s.
Crafted for adaptability in any setting, the Snowclogs are designed to slip on and off with ease thanks to Salomon’s signature Quicklace™ system. The shoe ensures safe footing on rugged terrains and slippery surfaces thanks to an All Terrain Contagrip® sole unit that’s fitted with winter traction.
Its upper is a blend of 3D mesh, nubuck leather and TPU for resistance to abrasions on top of being breathable and durable. Meanwhile, its midsole, composed of InfiniFOAM, alongside outsoles made from recycled materials, both nod to Salomon’s eco-friendly approach.
