Denham Collaborates With Seiko for a Limited-Edition 5 Sports Timepiece
Based on a “Jeanmaker’s Watch” concept.
Seiko has linked up with premium denim brand, DENHAM, for a collaborative Seiko 5 Sports wristwatch. The piece derived its design concept from a “jeanmaker’s watch,” incorporating various indigo hues onto its dial, bezel and strap. Upon a closer look, the 12 o’clock index is replaced with a triangular motif that houses DENHAM ’s hallmarked scissor logo.
Encased in steel, the watch measures 42.5mm in diameter. Powering the timepiece with a continuous running time of around 41 hours is Seiko’s 4R36 caliber, an automatic movement with manual winding, stop second as well as day-date functions. The caliber can be viewed through the see-through caseback, which comes imprinted with “THE TRUTH IS IN THE DETAILS” alongside co-branding.
Limited to 2,000 pieces, the Seiko 5 Sports x DENHAM Collaboration “Jeanmaker’s Watch” Limited Edition is available to pre-order now via Seiko’s webstore, priced at $430 USD. The watch will officially be unveiled on November 9, 2024.
