BAPE Celebrates 20 Years of the SHARK FULL ZIP HOODIE With New Collections
Also unveiling a brand new SHARK STA sneaker.
BAPE is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its SHARK FULL ZIP HOODIE with a lineup of exciting new releases. This includes the debut of the SHARK STA, a brand new sneaker model that embodies the spirit, attitude, fabrication and design DNA of the iconic hoodies.
Boasting a chunky silhouette, the SHARK STA features a mesh, leather and rubber composition, with contrasting overlays incorporated all around the lower upper, emulating the look of shark fangs. As a nod to the STA sneaker, the new model implements a shooting star motif onto the sides of the sole unit.
On October 5, BAPE will release the COUNTRY PACK collection, comprising an array of hoodies, T-shirts and SHARK STA sneakers in 10 distinctive colorways. Every colorway is dedicated to reflecting a different country, spanning China, France, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, UAE, the UK and the US. Each hoodie also offers a set of five patches for shoppers to customize their pieces with.
The label is set to unveil its CORE PACK collection on October 19, bringing the SHARK STA, SHARK FULL ZIP HOODIE and SHARK TEE in various neutral tones that evoke an autumnal mood. From monochrome, beige, brown, olive to various shades of gray, this lineup also highlights a luxurious blend of materials, spanning suede to nubuck, patent and calf leathers.
