TAG Heuer and Bamford Present a Race-Ready Carrera Chronograph with Team Ikuzawa
Boasting a sporty yet sophisticated design.
Joining forces for the first time, TAG Heuer is partnering with Team Ikuzawa and Bamford to unveil a special-edition Carrera Chronograph.
For this collaboration, TAG Heuer unites its savoir-faire in watchmaking and Bamford’s customizing expertise, together with Mai Ikuzawa’s artistic vision to present a striking timepiece that honors the legacy of Japanese racing-legend, Tetsu Ikuzawa.
Boasting a sporty yet elegant look, the Carrera Chronograph stars a striking white dial in an opaline finish, all attired in a sturdy steel case. Emblazoning the 3 and 9 o’clock marks of the dial are two contrasting chronograph counters, which are further complemented with a chapter ring, central seconds hand, and co-branding in a bold red. Rhodium-plated and lume-filled indices add a pop of chrome to the dial, accompanied by hour and minute hands that are imbued with red lacquer to tie in with the overall color palette.
Inside the 42mm-wide reference beats the in-house Heuer 02 caliber, a powerful automatic chronograph movement that is capable of running up to 80 hours when fully wound. Accompanying the timekeeper are a matching 3-row steel bracelet, and an additional fabric and velcro strap featuring a “Team Ikuzawa” logo imprint.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Team Ikuzawa by Bamford timepiece is available with a price point of 6,250 CHF (approximately $6,900 USD). Head over to TAG Heuer as well as Bamford’s websites to enquire about its availability.
