Quavo is memorializing his cousin and fellow Migos Takeoff on his sophomore studio album. Rocket Power has arrived as Quavo’s first full-length release since Takeoff’s passing last year, as well as the follow-up to his 2018 solo debut Quavo Huncho.

Takeoff was fatally shot during a private party at a Houston bowling alley on November 1. He was 28 years old.

The new project hears the two rappers appear on two tracks together, “Patty Cake” and “Back Where It Begins,” the latter of which also features a guest appearance from Future.

Other collaborations on the LP come from Young Thug on “Focused” and Hunxho and BabyDrill on “Stain.”

“This album is for the Rocket our true fans and also this is my therapy,” Quavo wrote on Instagram in May. “This is album is a true reflection of how I feel right now. Sometimes I’m Good, sometimes I’m Down, sometimes I’m Disappointed, sometimes I fall apart but then I ALWAYS find my strength again.”
