G-SHOCK x HIDDEN.NY To Drop Limited-Edition DW-5600 Watch Collab
Launching on Thursday.
For the first time ever, HIDDEN.NY and G-SHOCK have teamed up for a collaborative DW-5600 watch. The new DW5600HDN227 not only marks the first collaboration between the two influential streetwear names but also one of the many special releases celebrating G-SHOCK’s 40th anniversary this year.
Modeled off G-SHOCK’s iconic DW5600, the watch is dressed in a Yakult-like hued, opaque bone resin from case to band. While letterings, engravings, and co-branding are painted in green for an accentuated effect. HIDDEN.NY’s “Past, Present, and Future” mantra can also be spotted alongside its logo on the band in the refreshing green color.
Just like any G-SHOCK timepiece, the DW5600HDN227 is geared with incredible shock resistance, EL backlight afterglow, 200 meters water resistance as well as essential timekeeping features.
Alongside this release, HIDDEN.NY also teased a hoodie and T-Shirt featuring the watch as a cool graphic print. No information regarding the aforementioned merch has been revealed as of now. For those who are interested, it’s best to keep an eye out on both brands’ social accounts for potential updates.
Priced at $170 USD, the DW5600HDN227 had already sold out via HIDDEN.NY’s limited-time members-only sale. However, it will be both available online and physically at G-SHOCK’s Soho store starting August 24.
