Following its stunning presentation of works at CAN in Ibiza.
WOAW Gallery has launched an exhilarating “Vibrant Escape: An Ode to Summer” exhibition, featuring works by eight talented artists from around the world. From July 20 to August 19, 2023, the gallery invites guests to explore a curated collection of 16 artworks that embrace the essence of summer’s vivid landscapes and boundless creativity.
Imon Boy’s personal diary of life experiences comes alive through graffiti-inspired art, drawing inspiration from video games, cinema, and his global travels. Meanwhile, Deborah Brown’s skillful brushwork captures the bustling energy of New York City’s streets, bringing everyday scenes to life with vibrant hues and captivating light.
This collective ode to summer also features Isabella K. Cancino’s evocative graphite works, Alli Conrad’s enigmatic figurative oil paintings, Marcela Flórido’s self-portraits exploring identity and memory, and Kurt Lightner’s poignant reflections on heritage and rural life. Moreover, dive into the fantasy film stills of Charlie Roberts, where every canvas holds a captivating narrative, and experience the enchanting subjectivity of Kristian Touborg’s visionary paintings, where art history meets modern technology.
In case you missed it, WOAW Gallery returned to the 2023 edition of Contemporary Art Now (CAN) in Ibiza, showcasing the group presentation “Escape of Life: A Journey Beyond the Mundane.” The exhibition featured the works of Brian de Graft (B.D. Graft), Charlie Roberts, Giorgiko, Patrick Alston, and Shannon Peel. Through their distinct styles and artistic visions, these participating artists delve into various aspects of the human experience, revealing hidden layers beneath the surface of everyday life. Using diverse mediums, they explore how art can offer solace, inspiration, and a sense of wonder, inviting viewers to break away from the ordinary.
