Diddy, City Girls and Fabolous have joined forces for a new track and video, titled “Act Bad,” released under Diddy’s Bad Boy Records. Produced by Papiyer and Diddy himself, the new single delivers the “Act Bad” summer that Diddy first promised on the first episode of City Girls member Yung Miami’s Caresha Please series last year.

In a video posted to Instagram, Diddy reiterated the song’s intended summertime takeover. “We all teamed up together to drop the song of the summer,” he said. “It’s going to be an ‘Act Bad’ summer.” In his words, “acting bad” means “being free, enjoying yourself, letting go and not giving a f*ck.”

For Diddy, the track follows “Gotta Move On” with Bryson Tiller and “Sex In The Porsche” with Ty Dolla Sign, both of which were released last year. He’s expected to drop another album under his Love Records label, which will mark his first full-length effort in eight years. His last album, MMM (Money Making Mitch), featured 16 tracks with guest appearances from the likes of Pusha T, Big Sean, Travis Scott, French Montana, Wiz Khalifa and others.

Meanwhile, City Girls last released City on Lock in June 2020. According to a press release, JT and Yung Miami have plans to put out a new project this summer, under both Quality Control Music and Motown Records.
