NEEDLESS and 432Hz Launch Collaborative Kimono Capsule
Alongside a limited edition toy release from FRIDAY KENDAMA.
Hong Kong-based brands NEEDLESS and 432Hz have come together to release a collaborative capsule set to promote the traditional Chinese lion dance culture and to unravel the allusions of the big-headed Laughing Buddha.
The collection features a variety of tops and bottoms as well as a limited edition FRIDAY KENDAMA branded Japanese ball toy, decorated with unique images of the laughing Buddha and designed to honor and display various proverbs.
Notable items in the collection include a technical Kimono, Trousers and T-Shirt. The Kimono is said to be inspired by traditional robes but combined with urban style and functionality — a notable characteristic of 432Hz. Technical items in the collection feature materials like Ripstop Nylon and added 3M’s Scotchgard water-repellent treatment.
Hardware on the jacket includes German Fidlock magnetic buckle straps, Japanese YKK zipper systems, Japanese Kaji Tech Co., Ltd.’s Sun Grip functional buttons and more. The items also feature various prints that nod to the underlying theme, as well as co-branding elements.
