This week’s lineup is led by Kid Cudi with Travis Scott and Pharrell, Megan Thee Stallion and Kevin Abstract, who each released the singles “At The Party” and “Cobra” and the album Blanket, respectively. Also joining this selection are offerings from The Alchemist, the final song from The Beatles and UMI, and collaborations from Benny the Butcher with Lil Wayne and Larry June with Cardo and Blxst.

Megan Thee Stallion – “Cobra”

Megan Thee Stallion is back with “Cobra.” Like the titular animal, she sheds her skin and opens up about rising above the private and public struggles she’s been facing the past few years. She also makes it a point to note that she’s ready to take on the game once again.

Kevin Abstract - Blanket

Kevin Abstract delivers his first solo studio effort in four years, Blanket. The project also marks his first release since the breakup of BROCKHAMPTON in 2022, and hears him dive into his childhood. “Everything is more magical back then,” he shares in a statement. “Going to Disney and sleepovers, the imagination, hearing certain songs for the first time—all that stuff just feels epic.”

UMI – “Why Don’t We Go”

UMI announces her upcoming EP talking to the wind, which drops January 19, with her new track “why don’t we go.” She says of the song, “This song is about enjoying your eternal youth, to be playful, to be free, to not think so much about life. Through the lyrics I paint a scene of me falling in love with someone I met for the first time, dancing through the night and forgetting my parents advice. ‘why don’t we go’ is me inviting myself and the other person to just let go and to live for the sake of living—even if it’s just for one night.”

Larry June and frequent collaborator and producer Cardo continue the rollout for The Night Shift with “Without You (Blxst Interlude),” featuring Blxst. The Night Shift will mark June’s first project since The Great Escape, with its release date coming soon.
