Unimatic has collaborated with Milanese cutlery boutique Lorenzi for a new 99-piece limited edition.
The new Modello Due U2S-T-L is the Italian watch brand’s first release in titanium and it balances the gun metal tone of the metal against a Lorenzi green dial with silver minute track and Super-LumiNova C1 hour markers.
Time is indicated via ‘phantom ladder’ hands and a reverse lollipop seconds hand while Unimatic supply the watch on a dark chocolate brown calfskin strap with an addition TPU strap color-matched to the dial.
Despite its slim case, the field watch manages an impressive 300m water resistance thanks, in part, to its 2.7mm thick double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.
Inside is a 4Hz Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve, while on the reverse is a Unimatic x Lorenzi engraving and individual numbering.
In other watch news, Seiko and Helly Hansen collaborate on Japan-only diver.
