ARKET is honoring its mission statement of providing you with a “more beautiful everyday life” with its continued efforts to celebrate its Swedish roots, and now it does so with the upcoming CAFÉ MERCHANDISE™ collection.
Sweden has a much-loved “Fika” culture, which consists of people gathering over coffee and a small local cake, like a cardamom bun. 23 ARKET cafés can be found around the world and now the fashion and lifestyle store is putting these hotspots on a pedestal with its own capsule collection, delivering T-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, canvas totes, kitchen aprons and coffee mugs.
The clothes are largely produced with a sustainable thread in mind, leaning on organic and recycled cotton that are served up in either black or white. Here, ARKET’s special café illustrations can be found printed to the front of tops and spelled out on the back repeatedly, while the cap and apron sport an embroidered finish.
This is all brought together with the CAFÉ MERCHANDISE™ mug, which also sports the dual set of logos and illustrations that have been specifically made for this capsule collection. Combined, the new collection is a tact choice for ARKET, as the world becomes increasingly infiltrated with fashion-meets-café culture à la Aime Leon Dore, Dover Street Market London’s Rose Bakery and more.
