nonnative and GUIDI have teamed up again for a new iteration of the shoemaker’s BIG DADDY Center Zip Boots. The updated boots mark the entities’ second collaboration on this model.

The silhouette’s name comes from the notion of a child wearing their father’s shoes, which would undeniably be too large. Taking this inspiration, the boots feature a large round toe and forefoot. For this new collaboration, the leather BIG DADDY boots are done up in nonnative’s signature gray and sand hues.

Additionally, the collaborative boots feature a Norwegian welt construction and thick Vibram sole for durability. Giving the boots their distinct rugged look is the reverse side horse leather upper, which features a coarser suede than traditional cow leather.

Priced at ¥213,000 JPY (approximately $1,607 USD) the nonnative x GUIDI BIG DADDY boots are set to release Saturday, June 11 online at COVERCHORD.

In related news, Tom Sachs is giving NikeCraft NFT holders NikeCraft General Purpose Shoes free of charge.
