Another-1 Aims to Immortalize Graffiti Through the Metaverse With DRIP-LAB
Teaming up with street artists to combine the physical and digital realms.
Launched as a platform to democratize the Web3 trading process, Another-1 continues its mission to merge the physical and digital worlds through its DRIP-LAB project. For its latest venture, the multidisciplinary collective has unveiled a graffiti collection titled “THE WALL.”
Teaming up with local graffiti artists Zoow24, Trane, Schiche and Shek, the four have taken their spray paint from the street to the side of the Olmetex factory in Milan to create two unique artworks. Inspired by the erosion of street art, the 66x7m mural is adorned in their unqiue aesthetics and serve as a reminder of the ever-changing landscape of the art world.
As well as the physical installation, “THE WALL” is also immortalized through an NFT collection that includes three digital characters: Zoow24’s signature “Pizza Monster” and the “Cigarette Pack”, in addition to DRIP-LAB’s latest “The Spary Can.” To celebrate the launch, Another-1 has created an animated short, shot by Design Accelerator, highlighting the characters in the collection as its protagonists.
Speaking on the concept of decentralization and the latest DRIP-LAB project, CEO of Another-1 Marco Stagliano explains, “The creation of a phygital (digital + physical) product lets you to create an extended user experience.” He continues, “Together with Olmetex we have created the real representation of this interaction between the physical and virtual world.”
