Lil Baby Shares New Song “Dark Mode” About Ja Morant

Lil Baby has released a new track “Dark Mode” that’s about Memphis Grizzlies basketball player, Ja Morant.
A part of a new campaign for Beats by Dre (Beats), the 90-second track is about channeling your inner beast to succeed. Showcasing both the GRAMMY Award-winning rapper and one of basketball’s most popular players at the moment, the black and white video nods to the duo’s friendship.
“Ja has been one of my favorite players to watch. We’ve been locked in,” said Lil Baby. “This is not my first time partnering with Beats, but we took it up a notch with this original song. The world gets to experience ‘Dark Mode’ for the first time in a way that’s crazy!”
The campaign video and accompanying track made their debut during Game 3 of the NBA Playoffs between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, May 7.
