Helmut Lang has unveiled its new postcard capsule that showcases the world’s lively wonder. For the latest offering, collection pieces are inspired by archive styles from the brand’s Fall/Winter 2002 collection.
Capsule pieces like t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants and shorts are dipped in shades of caramel, cocoa bean, sky blue, dandelion, pine green, light gray, white and black. Aside from these hues, what brings the pieces to life are images of Vienna, Paris and New York City, which have all been headquarters to the brand at some point in time. To capture these life-filled images, the brand enlisted Vienna-based photographer Daniel Gebhart, Paris-based photographer Davit Giordaze and New York-based photographer Kyungjun Lee.
In addition to clothes, the power of this capsule rests in its emphasis on the power of photography and remembering Helmut Lang’s evolution through time.
