18 East has only been in business for over three years, but has still managed to create a generous helping of hype for engineering premium cozy outerwear pieces, intricate cut and sew items and graphic tees. Collaborations have been an important part of its business as well as it has linked up with the likes of Standard Issue Tees and Bodega, and now it’s moving into the tennis realm to create a new assemblage with Paterson. In the gallery above you’ll find the full lookbook that stars New York OG and avid tennis player DJ Stretch Armstrong.
The intention behind the collection is centered around creating the ideal tennis wardrobe for the fall season. Leading the way is a water-repellent, nylon warm-up suit that is styled with red, blue and white color-blocking inspired by vintage posters from Roland Garros — the French Tennis Open. The other top in the range is an oxford cloth rugby shirt that is hand-screened with all-over net print. Both parties have also aligned on accessories that include a 3-in-1 water-repellent nylon camp hat that is designed with a removable printed terrycloth earflap insulator cap. You can rock this separately or as one piece. In addition, the duo has engineered a water-repellent ballistic nylon tote bag that’s lined with net print.
You can find the full collection releasing via Paterson come November 22.
In other news, Supreme and Balenciaga are rumored to be collaborating in 2023.
