Toyota Celebrates 50 Million Corollas Produced With Manga Series
Chapter 3 features the AE86.
Toyota has just celebrated its 50 millionth Corolla produced with the release of a manga series.
Spanning each decade of the iconic car model — 1960 to 2020 — the manga currently has five volumes covering some of the model’s history with clever Easter eggs hidden throughout. Each chapter ends with a special scene dedicated to real owners and the photos they’ve submitted to Toyota.
Fans of the AE86 can find an “episode” dedicated to the car. Where there is no English version yet, those proficient in Japanese can head over to Toyota’s dedicate page, and even if you do not understand the language, the images are worth checking out.
