For over 30 years, the Nike Air Max 90 has gone from strength to strength, cementing itself as a staple sneaker for a range of global sub-cultures. As the brainchild of Tinker Hatfield, it has supported athletes from runners all the way to helping a lifeguard become a six-time ironman champ.

Whether ubiquitous on the street or helping to cushion a run during the marathon, the Air Max 90 is a true living legend. This year, Nike revisits this OG sneaker through an outdoor lens with the durable Air Max Terrascape 90.

Crafted from 20% recycled materials by weight, the sneaker boasts updated design features such as a durable translucent Nike Grind rubber on the mudguard as well as ripstop nylon upper and TPU accents. Honoring the spirit of the classic silhouette but inspired by where urban terrain meets the outdoors, the iconic waffle outsole ensures a trademark Nike Air Max print in every step whilst the Swoosh traces back to a pull tag for removable assistance, rounded off with Nike’s signature innovative Air Unit for added cushioning.

Comprised of two natural colorways, the latest collection arrives in contrasting hues including its dark “Black/Lime Ice/Anthracite/Dark Grey” and lighter “Sail/Sea Glass/Black.” From sleek street style to providing comfort when on outdoor expeditions, the Nike Air Max Terrascape 90 is the perfect companion to tackle any terrain.

To commemorate the launch of the new collection, HYPEBEAST has teamed up with Nike to create a dynamic multi-sensory experience inspired by the sneaker’s diverse capabilities and innovation. Find and click the Nike Air Max logo on the homepage to explore.
