After reviving its 26-piece A-ZX series in 2020 and highlighting the Forum silhouette throughout the course of 2021, adidas will soon be switching gears to shine a spotlight on its iconic EQT lineage in celebration of its 30th anniversary. For this commemoration, the Three Stripes brand is ushering in 16 installments, some of which are original makeups while the rest are collaborations with various streetwear and footwear retailers across the globe.

The expansive pack is split between four silhouettes: the Running Support 93, CSG Equipment 91, Equipment Prototype and the Equipment Race Walk, all of which will launch in the EQT series’ OG palette. The Running Support 93 will be filtered through the lenses of Footpatrol, Livestock and Carnival for collaborative iterations.Extra Butter, mita and Overkill will each put their own spin on the The CSG Equipment 91. The Equipment Prototype will see team-ups with the likes of atmos, Sneaker Politics and solebox. And the Equipment Race Walk will see joint-ventures with Commonwealth, Hanon and Limited Edt.

The adidas EQT line was first introduced in 1991 thanks to Robert Strasser and Peter Moore, the latter of which is also famous for designing the Air Jordan 1. It spawned a new generation of runners that were both functional and stylish, and at the same time backed by strong advertising campaigns.

You can learn more about each colorway here and likely expect adidas to start launching them in the coming months.
