Get your money right with Flo Milli, Guapdad 4000, Distortedd, Coco and Breezy, Karen Civil and more.
Ahead Financial is encouraging users to get their money correct for the summer, kicking off an interactive campaign to introduce its non-traditional approach to financial services. The brand is bringing consumers a new digital banking and financial health platform, which is designed for those that want to create financially secure futures. Inspired by the company’s mantra of “Ahead for All,” the new campaign includes in-person and digital experiences that connect to tech, music, fashion, gaming and other facets of contemporary culture.
The Ahead for All campaign starts with an interactive AR experience by Iddris Sandu, a digital architect who’s worked with the likes of Nipsey Hussle and Kanye West, that will get consumers advanced access to the Ahead app, exclusive giveaways and more. Beginning on May 21, digital billboards, online ads and social media posts will include QR code to seamlessly connect to the experience. The AR Experience is connected to a Raffle where when you join the Ahead Waitlist you can enter a chance to win a Honda x Supreme CRF250R Dirtbike, a VIP round trip experience to Rolling Loud, or a Custom Sneaker Design session with Alexander John. Ahead Financials’ digital activations also include a shortform video campaign “Formula” directed and produced by Fairfax Studios head Marvin Bing with an impressive cast featuring talent like Nike SB pro skater Theotis Beasley, stylist Ugo Mozi, BMX Athlete Bike Life Rex, and Visual artist Distrortedd. A longer video series titled “Ahead For All: The Docu-Series,” directed by Armani Martin, will also be released both in-person and on Ahead’s YouTube channel.
Later this month, on May 24, Ahead Financials is hosting a one-day NBA 2K Tournament streamed via Spawn on Me’s Twitch channel and in-person watch party at the Parlor in Los Angeles featuring DJ’s Coco + Breezy. While celebrities and professional gamers will be competing, fans should bookmark this stream to catch music performances from Flo Milli, Kamaiyah and Guapdad 4000, and conversations around banking, culture and the launch of Ahead. For aspiring musicians, the Music BREAKr contest offers a chance included in an exclusive playlist on Tidal. Together, Ahead Financials and Music BREAKr are committed to a $250,000 at launch to help musical creatives open their own digital bank accounts.
Lastly, Ahead is partnering with fashion designers like Lauren Halsey, Coco + Breezy and others to create a capsule collection of apparel and accessories. Interested consumers can shop the collection online or at a two-day pop-up in Los Angeles on May 21 and 22. To align with its mission of providing tools for underserved groups, proceeds from the pop-up shop will be donated to non-profit organizations that include Gameheads of Oakland, Lauren Halsey’s Summa Everythang Community Center of South Central Los Angeles and Streetcode Academy of Silicon Valley.
“We want to engage with our consumers where they are currently active,” said Anu Shultes, CEO of Ahead. “We are excited to interact with our customers through different mediums in order to make a personal connection and positively impact their lives.” With this mission in mind, the company is creating meaningful conversation on financial health by hosting its first Clubhouse event with Karen Civil on May 26.
To access these activations in the “Ahead for All” campaign, interested consumers can download the Ahead app and open an account. For more information on Ahead’s initiatives, head over to the brand’s website.
