Fans Think Grimes' New Track "Player of Games" Could be About Elon Musk

After releasing a song back in October expressing her sentiments towards privacy and personal space after splitting with Elon Musk, Grimes is back again with a new track titled “Player of Games.”

Released as a lyric video — directed by Anton Tammi with graphics by Aleksi Tammi — the song covers the topic of unrequited love and alludes to the ever-growing expanse of space with:

I’m in love / With the greatest gamer / But he’ll always love the game / More than he loves me / Sail away / To the cold expanse of space / Even love / Couldn’t keep you in your place

While the Canadian artist has not officially stated that the song is about her personal experiences, many fans are pointing out that the song’s lyrics could be about Elon.
