Bobby Flay to Leave the Food Network After 27 Years
Responsible for Food Network classics like ‘Hot Off the Grill,’ ‘Grillin’ & Chillin,’ and ‘Iron Chef America.’

After 27 years with the Food Network, Bobby Flay will reportedly not renew his contract with the Discovery-owned television network.
It has not been confirmed but there was some speculation that celebrity chef Guy Fieri’s huge bump to $80 million USD for an updated three-year contract may have influenced Flay’s decision to possibly look elsewhere for a bigger payout.
Since 1994, Flay has been a part of numerous Food Network projects and has released several books. Many will remember his infamous Iron Chef battle with chef Masaharu Morimoto where he “raised the roof” while standing on his cutting board.
