Sean Wotherspoon Teases adidas Originals ZX 8000 "SUPEREARTH"
Sporting plenty of color, fabrics, and embroidered details.
Hot off the heels of his SUPEREARTH Superstar launch, Sean Wotherspoon has taken to his Instagram to tease the next sneaker he’s developed in collaboration with adidas Originals — this time taking on the ZX 8000.
Much like the Round Two co-founder’s first sneaker, the ZX 8000 SUPEREARTH features a multi-colored upper that’s finished with plenty of branding and embroidery. The ZX 8000 also features a mixture of materials, with canvas, cloth, faux leather, and a jute-like fabric all appearing in the teaser imagery.
A clear plastic heel cage — presumably made with a sustainable focus in mind — is shown at the rear, housing a busy pattern of loose threads that correspond with the heel’s “SW — SUPEREARTH” embroidery. Multicolored adidas Trefoil logos have been embroidered along one side of the upper, while more branding has been added on the tongue.
Rounding out the pair is a creamy-white sole unit sporting colored flecks throughout, and a red Torsion bar finished with “SW” branding.
Rumors are suggesting that the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Originals ZX 8000 “SUPEREARTH” will release in February 2021 for $140 USD. Take a closer look at the pair above, and keep an eye out for updates.
