Valentino and Birkenstock Deliver Camouflage-Covered Arizona Sandals for Summer 2020

Luxury Italian label Valentino and sandal stalwart Birkenstock have come together once again for the release of two Summer 2020 takes on the Arizona silhouette.

Last year, the Pierpaolo Piccioli-helmed house delivered two versions of the Birkenstock Arizona, giving one a full “Valentino Red” makeover and the other a classic black-and-white design. This year, the collaboration brings an aesthetic that is quintessentially Valentino, covering the two sandals in camouflage prints and bold “VLTN” branding.

An oversized camouflage pattern in either “VLTN Army Green/Brushwood” or “VLTN Army Green/Lime” adorns the sandals’ strappy upper structure, while premium black leather and a black rubber sole unit have been added in contrast.

The military-inspired uppers are further contrasted with black metal buckles that are engraved with Birkenstock’s moniker. Rounding out the pairs is the dual branding found on the footbed.
