Adding to its fragrance lineup, Aesop recently teamed up with long-term collaborator Barnabé Fillion on its fourth scent release. The Rōzu Eau de Parfum is inspired by the life, work and enthusiasm of the prominent French modernist designer Charlotte Perriand, and the Japanese rose that bears her name.
Crafted to appeal to all genders, the scent is intense yet tender with nuanced and expansive notes with remarkable longevity. Rōzu Eau de Parfum features top notes of rose, petitgrain, bergamot, shiso and pink pepper. Following headier tones come from ylang-ylang, jasmine, guaiac wood continuing into sandalwood, vetiver extract, patchouli and myrrh. The whole fragrance is subtly carried by warm musk. Arriving in a 50ml glass bottle, the fourth fragrance from Aesop comes encased in an elegant box that showcases images from Perriand’s photographic archives.
Priced at $180 USD, the new Rōzu Eau de Parfum is available now at all Aesop signature stores, counters and online.
