The Weeknd Goes Bilingual on Maluma's "Hawái" (Remix)
Catch the Canadian artist singing in both Spanish and English for the first time.
After sitting at the No.1 spot on Billboard‘s Hot Latin Songs, Latin Streaming Songs and Latin Airplay charts for multiple weeks, Colombian artist Maluma has now tapped The Weeknd for a remix of his global hit “Hawái” (Remix).
The melody fueled track written by Maluma and The Weeknd sees the crooners tell the story of a relationship breakup set in the modern age. The Canadian goes bilingual singing in both Spanish and English for the first time to highlight how the story one tells and the pictures one posts can be deceiving. Coming together for an accompanying visual directed by Jessy Terrero of Cinema Giants, the neon-tinged music video cuts between scenes of past and present along with shots of The Weeknd and Maluma performing the remix.
