UPDATE: With Amazon Prime Day and Twitch Sells Out: A Prime Day Special Event less than a week away, the popular streaming platform has announced the full list of streamers participating in the two 12-hour live shopping show. Personalities such as CouRageJD, AvaGG, Pokimane, Grimmmz, TimTheTatman, and AnneMunition will take part, as well as many others. For the full list, check out the video above.
ORIGINAL STORY (July 5, 2019): This year, to celebrate Amazon Prime Day, the Amazon-owned streaming platform Twitch will be hosting a two-day-long live shopping show — jsut like the ones on TV.
Called Twitch Sells Out: A Prime Day Special Event, the live show will be split into two 12-hour sessions spanning across July 15-16 when Amazon Prime Day takes place. The show will feature “dozens of your favorite Twitch streamers [and] will be showcasing deals on everything from games and gaming peripherals, to kitchenware and electronics.” Twitch says that they’ve curated “the best of the best for the Twitch Community,” and all you need is Twitch Prime, even if it’s just a free trial. Aside from the Amazon items listed, the event will also include a whole array of Twitch-related things like Twitch merchandise or in-game content.
The full list of streamers hosting the show will be announced on July 10, and the show will go live July 15 at 10 am PT, so mark your calendars now. The live stream can be viewed at twitchpresents. For more information, head over to Twitch’s blog post.
