Ai Weiwei's Dynamic Artworks & Installations on Display at Toronto's Gardiner Museum
As part of a ceramics-focused survey entitled “Unbroken.”

Ai Weiwei is currently the subject of a major ceramics-focused survey at the Gardiner Museum in Toronto Canada. Entitled “Unbroken,” the presentation features a slew of dynamic artworks on display from Weiwei’s extensive oeuvre, including the artist’s Coca Cola Vase (2007) and Zodiac (2018) series made of LEGO bricks. The exhibition comes at a time of increased socio-political tension between Canada and China, which Ai Weiwei addressed in a statement last month.
“Unbroken” is on view until June 9, head over to Gardiner Museum’s website to learn more. Ai Weiwei will also display pieces from his Zodiac series at The Armory Show in New York City for a presentation hosted by Deitch starting March 6.
