Following the limited-edition “Safari” version, the beloved Leica M10-P camera now arrives in a plush black and gold treatment. The German camera manufacturer is launching this sleek option to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the American Society of Cinematographers aptly dubbed the “ASC100 Edition.”
The M10-P is executed with black-out engravings on its black chrome surface alongside quality leathering across its body. The gold accents are observed on the Leica Summicron-M 35 f/2 ASPH lens; a more contemporary twist on the brass lens of the inaugural “Ur-Leica” device. As far as hardware is concerned, the camera and lens are equipped with their standard specifications. The Leica M10-P “ASC 100 Edition” will be available in autumn 2019.
