Post Malone Surprises Fans With Free Crocs at Fried Chicken Shop He Used to Work At
For those who ordered “The Posty Special.”
Post Malone and Crocs are gearing up to release their fourth collaborative silhouette, the tactical Duet Max Clog.
To hype up the release, the musician and footwear brand surprised his Southlake, Texas hometown fans by giving away the collaborative pair for free at the old Chicken Express restaurant he used to work at as a teen. Although Malone himself did not attend, he sent over a bunch of the new Posty x Crocs Duet Max Clogs, where the shoes were handed out to employees and customers. Customers who ordered “The Posty Special” where given a box of chicken and fries along with a free pair of Crocs, courtesy of Post Malone.
The Clog is dressed in a blue and black camouflage pattern throughout, while the midsole features a more rugged look than previous Crocs models. The pair is then finished off with a Velcro fastening at the heel. On the collaboration Post shared, “This latest drop with Crocs is our best yet. I wanted to make a more tactical and chunky shoe and they gave me all the tools to do just that. I think they came out really neat, and I hope everyone loves them as much as I do.”
Interested readers will be able to purchase the Post Malone x Duet Max Clog at crocs.com on Tuesday, December 10 at 10 a.m. EST and select retailers including SNS. The Crocs will retail for $59.99 USD.
The GRAMMY-nominated artist was recently named Spotify’s most-streamed artist of 2019.
