T.I. Tackles Police Brutality in "War Zone" Music Video
A powerful visual.
T.I. continues to rally against injustice with his latest single “War Zone,” which follows his recent anti-Donald Trump record “Dope.” Chanting “Hands Up/Can’t Breathe” on the chorus, the latest release from the Atlanta rapper’s upcoming EP, Us or Else makes for a powerful call for action. “They said suicide, I said genocide/ Boy, what you got a gun for? You ain’t ride/They run up on you like Baton Rouge, bet you finna hide/That’s the difference between us, I’ll die to save a million lives” raps T.I., while a quotation from activist and educator Jane Elliott closes the track. Watch above for the music video that recreates the scenes of Eric Garner and Philando Castile’s deaths, with the tables turned.
