12 for Drizzy, 10 for Sean, and 9 for Nicki.

With just a month left until the 2015 BET Hip-hop Awards, the race for top nominees is heating up and OVO frontman Drake along with Nicki Minaj are leading the pack. With 12 nominations already, the Toronto rapper, whose renowned record If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late scored platinum, is up for categories such as Lyricist of the Year, MVP of the Year, Album of the Year and more. Following behind the Canadian trailblazer is Big Sean with ten nominations, Nicki Minaj with nine, and J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar tied for eight. Snoop Dogg will host this years awards which will be taped October 9 at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Atlanta.
