Symba’s story is the opposite of most rappers. He went from riches to rags; When he was 18, he had everything: a promising basketball career and his parents, both successful real estate agents, showered him what whatever he wanted. He had a fancy car before he even had a driver’s license. One day, the cops yanked him out of class. It turns out his father made bum investments with clients’ funds and they sent him to jail. Symba’s family’s world turned upside down and he had to learn backwards.
