Former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris Carine Roitfeld came out with a men’s version to her highly regarded CR Fashion Book, titled CR Men’s Book. Jaden Smith was subjected in the inaugural edition, who spoke on his eccentric personality and fashion sense — chiefly the science behind his brand MSFTS. Smith firmly believes the influence behind his “family” MSFTS are boundless, and that its potential to create extends far beyond fashion. Jaden rhetorically asks ”what is MSFTS? By asking this question you are already limiting its potential.” While its first foray will be clothing, Smith envisions a much brighter future for the company: “It’s nothing that has the potential to become everything, with the right minds behind it.” Graphic T-shirts, hoodies, and hats will be included in the brand’s first offering, which draws deigns from school and subjects like mathematics and science. The ambitious child actor wants his “T-shirts to look like a mixture of Basquiat’s and Einstein’s personal notebooks,” using ”mathematical and scientific based” aesthetics, the reason being ”that most kids don’t think that science is cool, so we are mixing pop culture with education to show people that if you look at something with a different lens, you can gain a new perspective.” For more on Jaden Smith’s feature in CR Men’s Book, visit Complex.
