Frank Ocean's Keyboardist Opens Up About Making of 'Blonde' & 'Endless'

More of the backstory behind Frank Ocean‘s recent pair of releases continues to be revealed. Last week, Frank’s “Facebook Story” narrator shared his side of the Endless and Blonde story. Now, the London-based crooner’s keyboardist Buddy Ross is talking to Pitchfork about his parts on the new Frank Ocean projects. Ross tells Pitchfork he performed the piano intro on “Godspeed,” cooked up the synth-work on the “first half” of “Nights”, the “synth pad” on the initial half of “White Ferrari,” the entirety of the “repeating interlude music,” and the “musical elements” of “Close to U.” “I played on a bunch of the Endless stuff.
