Essentials - ƱZ

Mysterious masked producer ƱZ is featured for this week’s installment of Essentials. Surfacing in 2012 with his infamous Trap Sh*t series on SoundCloud, he quickly rose to become one of the most sought for producers and DJs, drawing the attention of top-notch record labels like Boysnoize, Mad Decent, Mau5trap and OWSLA. ƱZ has also ventured outside of the electronic music scene, producing for well-known rappers like Trinidad James and Casey Veggies. In this Essentials, the enigmatic producer tries to maintain an all-black-everything color scheme in accordance with his aesthetic. On the music end of things, he shares a Native Instruments Traktor mixer Z2, Ortofon cartridges, a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M50X headphones, a Cubase e-licensor USB key and a portable hard drive. For his lifestyle items, he shares the black Nike Air Force 1 Mid, a pair of “F*ck Off” Raised by Wolves slides, a Skingraft wallet, a Vestal Watch, a GoPro 4 camera, an iPhone 6, and a travel sleeping mask to help him take naps (and maybe to conceal his identity.)
