'Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us' Trailer Announces U.S. Theatrical Debut
The legendary Pokémon Lugia returns.
The latest Pokémon movie to release in Japan is coming to U.S. theaters this November. Originally titled Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story, Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us is a feature-length anime that takes place in the original series timeline alongside a cast of new characters.
The Pokémon company describes two new characters as “a compulsive liar” and “a bitter old woman.” The movie will see Ash and Pikachu on a tiny town by the sea where people worship Lugia, the legendary bird featured in Pokémon the Movie: 2000. The unique visual style is due to Attack on Titan studio Wiz Studio helming the film.
Check out the trailer above, and catch the film on November 24, 26 and 28, and December 1. Pre-order tickets on Fathom Events soon.
