Memphis Bleek Files for Bankruptcy & Only Has $100 in Cash
Will JAY Z step in to help?

JAY Z once vowed to never let Memphis Bleek go broke. Today, Jigga might have to reevaluate his promises as it is reported that Bleek has filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy. The former Roc-a-Fella artist filed the petition on March 14 in New Jersey’s US Federal Court. His total assets round up to $274,000, including his Jersey Home, a Chevy Impala, clothing, and wedding rings. He says that he has only $100 in cash, that his business bank account is empty and that his business “Get Low Touring” is not worth anything. The rapper allegedly makes $5,911.94 a month, with $571 in royalties and $5,340.94 from his business. His monthly expenses, however, add up to $5,377, which only leaves him with $534.94. According to Bossip, Bleek is currently devising a plan to pay back his creditors while the bankrupcy is pending. He owes $335,000 on his NJ house, $24,000 on the Impala, $9,000 to the IRS and $13,000 to Monmouth County Superior Court. It is unlikely that JAY will bail Bleek out, as the MB did not list any support from family or friends in his petition.
