Choosing to accompany the lyrics of “Spectrum” with a visual narrative, GoldLink and 88 Rising seek to tell the DMV rapper’s “story of a former Filipina girlfriend who used to berate him in her native tongue.” In today’s clip, dance battles take place and things take a violent turn towards the end.
